CMF's Health Affinity Group, the Safety Net Work Group and the Governor’s Office of Foundation Liaison invite you to join your peers as we unpack issues related to the social safety net, health and health care access—priority among the group is the “unwinding” of Medicaid, i.e., the ending of expanded access to benefits during the pandemic. Michiganders will either lose access or will need to re-enroll. During this virtual briefing, you’ll hear from national, state and community leaders as they offer updates to the process, overview barriers to access, share how Michigan compares to other states and brainstorm the role that philanthropy can play to ensure access to quality health care.
