CMF's Equity Signature Series features a special slate of conversations and deep learning opportunities centered in equity, and racial equity imperatively. Through these signature programs, CMF members have participated in conversations and interactive virtual workshops exploring topics around philanthropy’s convening power to advance racial equity, creating an organizational culture of inclusion, grantmaking with a racial justice lens, how our sector can reimagine engagement and investment in communities of color, discussions around philanthropy’s past and looking to the future of equity, and beyond.
Over the course of the year, we will continue to feature thought leaders from Michigan and across the country as we deeply explore and examine the ways that we can, and must, move the needle to advance systemic change. This CMF signature series is one of many opportunities hosted throughout the year to ask ourselves the hard questions, challenge our thinking, inspire action and lift up the work of foundations, nonprofits and other peers and partners as we learn from and with each other on our journeys to advance equity.
