About the Event
Reunite with YACers and YAC advisors from around the state for the exciting return of the Youth Grantmakers Summer Leadership Conference! The 28th annual conference theme is Re-Up: Reflect. Reimagine. Respond. Get ready for an exciting weekend of youth philanthropy with breakout sessions, speakers and fun activities! Don't miss out on this engaging weekend of empowering lessons, best practices, strategies to deepen your grantmaking skills and connecting with youth grantmakers from around the state! The conference is planned and facilitated by the Michigan Community Foundations' Youth Project (MCFYP) Committee.
The MCFYP Committee and CMF have designed this year’s in-person conference with a health and safety-first approach. Informed by health experts and local and state guidance, the event will be divided into two separate 1.5-day conferences to allow for more adequate physical space for engagement, support stronger cleaning protocols and help to create an overall safer environment for all attendees. There will be an opportunity for all attendees to come together for limited main stage programming including The Diatribe and YAC Awards.

Additional Information
- YAC members associated with community foundations around Michigan and the U.S. are welcome to attend.
- Youth must be accompanied by an adult advisor in order to attend the conference.
- It is expected that adult advisors be the first point of contact for their youth participants.
- Youth participants must be enrolled in high school for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Adult advisors will be responsible for youth participants, including conducting bed checks at the end of each night.
