Development Staff Roundtable
Join us for this in-person gathering for development professionals to discuss what you’re seeing in your work and crowdsource ideas from your peers across the state. This will be a space for participants to share stories and advice from their experiences in the field and you will have an opportunity to share your ideas for topics during the registration process. As we continue our collective equity journey, we invite you to bring forward equity-related topics to our roundtables throughout the year. This conversation is open to all CMF members who spend time supporting fund development for their organization.
Working Together to Address Michigan's Early Learning and Care Crisis
CMF and the P-20 Education Peer Community are pleased to join the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Policy Equity Group and Southern Imaginations in inviting you to a meeting of Michigan funders to exchange ideas and drive positive change for the state’s early learning and care system.
Scholarship Learning Community Gathering
Gather with your scholarship peers for this in-person gathering to network, learn and share best practices. This program is intended for all foundation staff who administer scholarship programs in their communities. Topics of discussion will include: supporting high-priority students, scholarship displacement, best practices in administration and more. Attendees will be invited to provide input on the program content via a survey shared following registration.
Supporting Rural Communities: A CMF Member Gathering
Join your rural philanthropy peers in person to discuss around. The purpose of this gathering will be to empower foundation staff and trustees working in rural communities to connect with peers in meaningful ways and discuss opportunities and challenges related to rural infrastructure. The group will be joined by Sarah Lucas, Director of the Office of Rural Prosperity, who will share more about the trajectory of the office, what they are learning through statewide listening sessions and how philanthropy can continue to partner to lift and address issues facing their communities.
