2023 YOUTH GRANTMAKERS SUMMER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

We're excited to share the first look at our youth conference learning lineup! In addition to our opening sessions, each conference attendee will select three breakout sessions they would like to attend once on-site at the conference. If you have multiple participants you may want to ensure they are attending a mix of sessions to expand learning opportunities for your YAC. We look forward to seeing you in June!

Breakout Sessions (Please select 3)

Opportunities: Let's Make Lots of Change
This interactive session will inspire you to approach your role as a YAC-er with a "can do" and balanced mindset. Together we will generate community impact ideas to create lasting change!

Finding a Balance
Join this conversation to learn how to create a safe space to talk about mental health, discuss coping mechanisms and how to find a balance between your responsibilities and your own capacity. We will also share important resources available across the state and the U.S. for mental health, crisis support and emergency services.

The Elements of a Healthy Debate
How can we effectively engage in informed conversations to bridge divides? In this session, we will share various strategies to better equip you in navigating debates within your YACs and beyond.

Post-Diploma Philanthropy
Explore how you can stay involved and engage in philanthropy after high school and throughout your life! We will highlight opportunities for you to support and serve your community and discuss ways to enhance your YAC's alumni engagement.

Building a Better YAC
In this session, we will discuss how diverse perspectives benefit YACs and why connecting with community members can be so critical to this work. Together we will brainstorm ways we can strengthen connections with our communities.
