About the Event

Join your Michigan philanthropy peers engaged in mental health-related efforts and meet with selected state legislators on mental health policy issues. Conversations and storytelling will be focused on, but not limited to, mental health work, including efforts in destigmatizing mental health, expanding access to mental health services and supporting community-based mental health programs. We will meet with selected state legislators engaged in health policy making, so a broader range of discussion is welcome. We will also learn about legislative priorities in mental health policy and deepen connections with policymakers working to shape Michigan's health systems and outcomes.

While the scheduled event is 9 am - 4 pm, we understand some members may only be able to attend a portion of the day. If so, please email Nathan Murphy in advance with information about when you will join the group at Foundations In Lansing.

Several days in advance you will receive the day’s agenda, a policy brief, and details on the logistics.

This event is part of CMF’s Foundations in Lansing series. These events provide opportunities for CMF members to share stories of their work and communities and build relationships with our Michigan Legislature focused on strategic policy areas of common between Michigan philanthropy and state policymakers.
