Biography
Prior to joining CMF, Aline worked as a communications manager for a local state representative campaign. Simultaneously, she worked as a behavioral therapist for children on the Autism spectrum.
Aline grew up in North Carolina and moved to Michigan to complete her undergrad at Alma College. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and stayed in Michigan after graduation. She currently lives in Grand Rapids.
Outside of work, Aline loves to spend time outside, photography, exercising, singing and listening to music, painting, traveling and trying as many new foods as possible.

Describe what you do in your role.
In my role, I lead storytelling efforts through our digital publication The Download, I manage our social media platforms, email campaigns and I provide communications support across our organization.
What do you enjoy the most about your work?
I enjoy connecting with members, learning more about the work they’re doing to create a more equitable Michigan and being able to share those stories with the CMF community.
What are the causes you’re most passionate about?
Equity and inclusion, civil rights, education, arts and the environment.
What inspires, challenges or motivates you?
I’m motivated to continue the work towards an equitable world.
What do you love about Michigan?
I love the outdoors in Michigan, so many great hiking spots, lakes and summer in Michigan is hard to beat!
