Biography
Prior to joining the CMF and Skillman teams, Tina worked as a graphic designer for a small Detroit-based creative agency while simultaneously providing freelance design services to her own clients based in the nonprofit, philanthropic, and education sectors. Working with these types of clients over the years fueled her interest in nonprofit and philanthropic endeavors, along with sparking a desire to transition to an organization that is helping create real change in our communities.
Outside of work, Tina enjoys exploring new places, gardening, camping, good food, reading, and creating her own greeting cards. She currently lives in the Metro Detroit area.

As a creative-minded individual, I’m greatly inspired by the world around me. New experiences and new places allow me to observe things from a different perspective. I love webbing together language and imagery to tell a story. Bringing concepts to life is truly a joy I don’t think I will ever tire of.
What are the causes you’re most passionate about?
Racial Equity and Inclusion, Education, Human Rights, Environmental Justice and Animal Welfare.
What inspires, challenges or motivates you?
Simply knowing that the work I put in makes a real difference and helps drive positive change in our communities is a major motivator for me! I just love helping people and supporting my community however I can.
What do you love about Michigan?
I love that you are never more than six miles away from a body of water! Michigan summers are in a league of their own and I love soaking up every ounce of sunshine we get. Also, so many different ecosystems are accessible with just a short drive—from freshwater to dense forests to urban environments, it’s super easy to discover something new.
