Get to know Megan

What do you enjoy the most about your work?

One of my favorite parts of working with MCFYP is getting to meet bright young leaders who are passionate about their work. I love learning about how they engage in philanthropy and all their ideas for future growth!

What are the causes you’re most passionate about?

I am passionate about understanding the effects of poverty on health and education. As well as the generational effects of poverty and how it interacts at an intersection with identity.

What inspires, challenges or motivates you?

My family and friends are absolutely my biggest motivators! Wanting a stronger community for them drove me to become active in philanthropy and reminds me of my goals every day.

What do you love about Michigan?

The nature of Michigan is absolutely my favorite part! I love immersing myself in the beauty of the state, especially in my home area. Often in the summer, when I’m not working, you can find me fishing, walking in the woods or driving the scenic roads.
