Lucille has been working with individuals, teams and organizations for over 30 years in the area of leadership development, emotional-intelligence in the workplace and mindful communications. As a certified coach, through the Co-Active Training Institute, Lucille helps individuals and teams be more adaptive in addressing complex challenges, strengthening diverse collaborations and increasing effectiveness in the workplace.
In addition, Lucille is a certified teacher for the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, SIYLI, which was developed by leading experts at Google to teach mindfulness, emotional intelligence and leadership skills in the workplace. She partners with community-based organizations, non-profits and foundations across the state in teaching this globally recognized, neuroscience based, training program designed to increase focus and attention, reduce stress and build resiliency.
Through Rotary Charities of Traverse City Michigan, Lucille serves as the Leadership Development Coach along with helping lead the Leadership Learning Lab (LLL), an 8-month leadership cohort program supported by the Frey Foundation, eleven Community Foundations and Rotary Charities. Lucille is responsible for teaching the Adaptive Leadership I and II series along with facilitating the peer learning circles. Lucille is also an executive coach and presenter for the Council of Michigan Foundation’s Mentoring Program, helping emerging leaders in philanthropy from across the state, increase their leadership skills and develop a network of support and resources.
Past roles include: Vice President of Public Affairs and Executive Director of Development at Saginaw Valley State University, Associate Director of Philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy, trustee of the Saginaw Community Foundation and an advisor to the Youth Advisory Council, university professor at CMU, SVSU and Delta College. She is licensed in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
