
JD Lesada
Governor's Office of Foundation Liaison
Program Officer
JD Lesada is a Program Officer for the Governor's Office of Foundation Liaison (OFL). In this role, he helps to identify and broker innovative funding partnerships and strategic collaborations between the state and its grantmakers.
Prior to joining the OFL in August 2024, Lesada served as the director of operations for the Growing Michigan Together Council, where he successfully managed a public-private partnership and its bipartisan committee. Prior to this, he held various leadership and fundraising roles in Detroit's nonprofit sector, including chief of staff at the Pope Francis Center, marketing & communications specialist at the Pope Francis Center, and corporate relations associate at the United Way for Southeastern Michigan.
He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
