Through the generous support of the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation, the CMF Fellowship Program has expanded, welcoming Taylor Williams and Katie Ferriby!

These fellows will dedicate the majority of their time to advancing grantmaking efforts at the foundation; they will also be engaged in specially curated professional development and fellowship support through CMF.

Taylor Williams is supporting the Arts, Sustainable Business, and Environmental Health & Justice grantmaking programs at the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation. Most recently, Taylor served as a Volunteer Engagement and Giving intern with Rocket Community Fund and a Corporate Giving intern with General Motors.

Katie Ferriby is supporting the Great Lakes grantmaking program team. Katie served as a Program Support Specialist and Stewardship Operations intern with Brilliant Detroit and as a fellow with Challenge Detroit. In 2020, Katie attended Foundations on the Hill with CMF and our Michigan delegation of philanthropy leaders.

We invite you to connect with Taylor and Katie.

About CMF-Member Sponsored Fellowships

CMF’s fellowship program, which is sponsored by CMF members, is designed to support emerging leaders with the experience and skills to advance their careers in the sector while making meaningful contributions to their home foundation and the larger nonprofit community. Each cohort of fellows receives comprehensive, wrap-around professional development support from CMF.

In addition to the Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation fellowship, CMF is grateful for the generous support of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation (RCWJF) for sponsoring our RCWJF Philanthropy Fellowships. The fellows are embedded in the RCWJF's Program team, supporting the grantmaking activities of the foundation while receiving professional development through CMF.

The William C. Richardson Philanthropy and Public Policy Fellowship is funded through an endowment established by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) in honor of the late Dr. William C. Richardson, former president and CEO of WKKF and a former trustee of CMF. The goal of the fellowship is to engage future policymakers in the philanthropic sector to learn about our role in influencing state and federal policy, how to partner with state government and to gain a deeper understanding of philanthropy.

Meet our current public policy fellow, Cassidy Uchman!
