Many Hands, More Impact: Philanthropy’s Role in Supporting Movements synthesizes thought leadership and research on the role of philanthropy in supporting movements and shares the experiences (both positive and challenging) of grantmakers engaged in movement building as a strategy to grow impact. This publication also offers an orientation to some of the inherent opportunities of and potential barriers to supporting movements in order to inspire grantmakers to explore collaborative efforts for social change, whatever form they may take.
