Giving Tuesday 2019
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y, a nonprofit cultural and community center in New York. In the seven years since, it has grown to be a global movement, focused primarily on digital messaging and online promotion. This year's event is slated for December 3, 2019.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of human-made chemicals – commonly found in fabric treatments, soaps, firefighting foam and other products – that break down very slowly in the environment, are highly soluble and easily transfer through the soil to groundwater.
