Foundations in Lansing: Mental Health Conversations with Policymakers
Join your Michigan philanthropy peers engaged in mental health-related efforts and meet with selected state legislators on mental health policy issues. Conversations and storytelling will be focused on, but not limited to, mental health work, including efforts in destigmatizing mental health, expanding access to mental health services and supporting community-based mental health programs. We will meet with selected state legislators engaged in health policy making, so a broader range of discussion is welcome. We will also learn about legislative priorities in mental health policy and deepen connections with policymakers working to shape Michigan's health systems and outcomes.
Foundations in Lansing: Before and After School Time Conversations with Policymakers
Join your Michigan philanthropy peers engaged in education work. Conversations and storytelling will be focused on, but not limited to, before and after-school programming supported by Michigan philanthropy. We will meet with selected state legislators engaged in education policy making, so a broader range of discussion is welcome. This is an opportunity to highlight Michigan philanthropy’s work towards equitable education policies, systems and programs that ensure every child and young adult across the state of Michigan, regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, address or disability status, has the resources to achieve at their highest potential. We will also learn about legislative priorities in education and deepen connections with policymakers working to shape the future of education in Michigan.

Spring Corporate Retreat
Join your corporate philanthropy colleagues for an engaging in-person retreat by the scenic Gun Lake in Shelbyville. This gathering offers a space to collaboratively share challenges, explore evolving practices, and learn collectively. Crucially, the retreat allows participants valuable time to forge meaningful connections with peers and engage in discussions about the issues most significant to them.
