Lumina Foundation's 5th edition of its signature report on college attainment statistics tracks the progress toward the goal of having 60% of Americans hold a post-secondary degree or credential by the year 2025.  Search this interactive site to find the data for national, state and county levels.  As the global demand for postsecondary skills and knowledge continues to increase, Lumina Foundation's 2014 report shows that America achieved its largest year-over-year increase in degree attainment since 2008. According to the report, 39.4 percent of working-age Americans (ages 25-64) held a two- or four-year college degree in 2012—the most recent year for which data are available.
