State of the State Survey (Fall 2016)

The State of the State Survey is a public opinion survey of adults living in Michigan, gauging their sentiments on education, healthcare, charity, volunteering, the environment, politics and voting. 

The 73rd round of the Michigan State University State of the State Survey (SOSS) was conducted by MSU's Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR) from September 1, 2016 through November 13, 2016. The survey is administered by IPPSR's Office for Survey Research. This round of the survey reached 1,010 Michigan adults. The margin of sampling error with design effects was ±4.2 percent.
