In this report, the Colorado Trust and Innovation Network chronicle the Trust's strategy for funding advocacy and provide a strategic evaluation for their successes and failures. 

To help realize The Colorado Trust's vision of achieving access to health for all Coloradans, advocacy is imperative. Yet conducting effective advocacy, and implementing an effective advocacy funding strategy and evaluation, are challenging. The Colorado Trust's Advocacy Funding Strategy: Lessons Learned for Funders of Advocacy Efforts & Evaluations shares our experiences toward achieving an open learning process for grantees and foundation staff, and toward preparing a field of advocates to address the issues of our time.
