Get to Know Bob:
Bob Inskeep's 40 years of organizational development and leadership coaching experience has spanned assignments in nonprofit, for-profit and governmental sectors. For the past 20 years, he has worked exclusively with foundations and nonprofits to help build their capacity through system development and strengthening the competencies of individuals throughout organizations.
As a consultant for and employee of various organizations, Bob has successfully assisted on assignments ranging from board development and strategic planning, recruitment, leadership development, compensation system design, succession planning, and outplacement assignments. Coaching/consulting services are focused on transitions for individuals and organizations. This includes career and retirement transitions, and assisting small teams in strategic planning and other organizational issues.
Upon completion of his doctorate in organizational psychology, Bob joined the Stroh Brewery Company as manager of employee development and then director of corporate personnel, before moving to the C.S Mott Foundation in 1994 as director of human resources. He left Mott in 2003 to found the Center for Nonprofit Management at Lawrence Tech, where he also taught graduate coursework in leadership, human resource management and nonprofit management.
In his consulting work, Bob continues to coach first-time as well as veteran board members, nonprofit executives, program staff and administrative employees.
