Nancy Taber, Binda Foundation Executive Director Retirement

Nancy Taber has announced her intention to retire in January of 2021 as the Executive Director of the Guido A. and Elizabeth H. Binda Foundation. Nancy has served as the Foundation’s Executive Director since July of 2009. Prior to that she was the executive assistant to the Foundation President, Elizabeth Binda.

During Nancy’s tenure with the Foundation, she has modeled the beliefs and values of the Foundation’s founders, Guido and Elizabeth Binda. She has demonstrated Elizabeth Binda’s passion for children and education, building and strengthening partnerships in the community to meet the needs of our earliest learners.

Cindy Ruble, Binda Foundation President, shares, “Nancy is deeply committed to Battle Creek and Calhoun County, where she has worked consistently to build partnerships and collaborations across our community in support of education, health and the arts.”

Past Board President, John Hosking said, “Nancy has done a phenomenal job representing, first the founders, and now the Binda Foundation Board, for many years. She has cultivated strong relationships with Binda grantees; she has encouraged innovation; and she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to children in our community. We appreciate Nancy and her contributions to the Foundation and to the community.”

The Binda Foundation Board publicly thanks Nancy for her many years of commitment and service to the Foundation.
