About the Event
Join the Green and Blue Network and Rural Philanthropy Affinity Group for an in-person day in Lansing on Friday, April 28. In this event, hosted by the Governor's Office of Foundation Liaison (OFL) and CMF, you will have the chance to meet the new directors of various Michigan state departments and agencies, including the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE); Department of Natural Resources (DNR); Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD); and Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). Office of Rural Development Director Sarah Lucas and Senior Policy Advisor to the Governor Kara Cook will also join us for this information-packed day, along with a representative from the Public Service Commission.
Our time together will be interactive and you’ll have the chance to learn about departmental 2023 plans and priorities for environmental and rural-based work, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
