Speakers

Kim Roberts, grant services manager, W.K. Kellogg Foundation

Kim Roberts manages the day-to-day operations of the grant services team, provides expertise in the review and analysis of financial data to assess the financial health of an organization, and identifies risks related to funding requests. Roberts also partners with programming during cultivation and application development to determine appropriate funding levels and grant structures and helps build grantseekers/grantees' capacity by providing technical assistance. Roberts joined the foundation in 2010, after serving as a manager in the audit department of Yeo & Yeo, PC where she audited nonprofits, schools and governmental entities.

Molly Schultz Hafid, senior philanthropy consultant, TCC Group

Molly joined TCC Group in March 2018 as Senior Philanthropy Consultant.  With a background in strategic, managerial, financial, and nonprofit expertise, Molly's experience includes work as a foundation executive, program officer, individual donor advisor, and adjunct faculty professor. A dynamic leader in social justice philanthropy, Molly also co-founded and co-chairs Funders for Justice. Prior to joining TCC, Molly served as the Assistant Director of the Unitarian Universalist Veatch Program at Shelter Rock, a national social justice grantmaker.  Molly holds a Masters of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University.

Randy VanAntwerp, chief financial officer, Frey Foundation

Randy Van Antwerp is the CFO of the Frey Foundation, where he has worked since February 2014.   The Frey Foundation, based in Grand Rapids, is a private family foundation with assets of $140 million. Randy is responsible for financial planning, managing accounting and investment procedures, regulatory compliance, budget, and reporting. Prior to the Frey Foundation, Randy worked as the CFO and COO for the Grand Rapids Art Museum and Foundation.  He earned his CPA when working for Deloitte.  Randy holds masters of business administration from Grand Valley State University and a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Michigan.
