What do you actually do all day long?
I spend my days interacting with funders, government officials, and the nonprofit community to build relationships, deepen our awareness of work that is happening across the state, and building relationships to facilitate productive partnerships between government and philanthropy.
What is the best part of your job?
When our subtle work breaks down barriers across sectors and leads to productive partnerships focused on outcomes for the children and families of Michigan.
Favorite flavor of ice cream?
Olive Oil Gelato...does that count?

Why do you love where you live?
Michigan has all the ingredients to be a beacon of equity, sustainability and creativity for the world, and I get to be a part of that movement.

Favorite book from childhood?
That's really difficult! I'll go with "100 Years of Solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez
To train in internal martial arts on Wudan Mountain.
Hobbies/ & Leisure Interests?
I'm a serious foodie, farmer, cook. Nothing pleases me more than preparing a special meal from ingredients I grew and preserved accompanied by great wine and deep conversation among family, friends and colleagues.
