What do you actually do all day long?
I lead the development, monitoring, implementation, evaluation and advancement of CMF’s short- and long-term goals within our strategic framework in collaboration with our president and CEO, and with the Leadership Team. My work also centers on formulating strategy-driven priorities, plans and processes that further CMF’s mission to grow the impact of Michigan philanthropy, ensuring efforts across the organization are aligned and held to accountability measures.
What is the best part of your job?
Partnering with my outstanding CMF colleagues in supporting our members and helping to tell the stories of truly inspiring philanthropic work impacting Michigan and beyond.
Favorite flavor of ice cream?
Chocolate with Peanut Butter
What music are you streaming?
Always a variety, including blues, classic rock and folk rock, singer/songwriter, opera, classical and jazz.
Why do you love where you live?
Though always a resident of the Midwest, I only recently became a Michigander. I love the friendly people, fantastic outdoor opportunities available throughout the year, the music scene and local food.
If you could choose a super power, what would it be?
The abilities described in the movie "Limitless" - Being able to absorb and understand information at a rapid rate, retain that information and then access it readily. (Though I wouldn't want the side effects!)
Favorite book from childhood?
Anything by Dr. Seuss or Judy Blume, The Little House on the Prairie series, The Babysitter's Club series, the Little Golden Book series, the Sweet Pickles series, The Berenstain Bears series, Anne of Green Gables, Corduroy and Where the Wild Things Are.

Hobbies/ & Leisure Interests?
Travel, seeing live music, adrenaline pumping adventures, fishing, karaoke, camping, reading, writing, photography - and I really love home organization and design!
