Get to Know Amanda:
Amanda St. Pierre has worked in nonprofit communication since 2004. She is strategic, detail-oriented, and skilled at simplifying complex programs and leadership initiatives. Amanda is passionate about donor communication, especially fundraising appeals, fund reporting and planned giving.
Until 2017, Amanda was Strategic Communication Manager at Grand Rapids Community Foundation. In this role, she enjoyed writing for the website and the organization’s publications, managing social media, overseeing estate planning campaigns and providing communication-related event support. During her nearly 11 years with GRCF, Amanda also held a position in philanthropic services, where she worked with donor advisors, geographic affiliates and nonprofit endowed fund holders. In this role, Amanda gained experience in Blackbaud’s RE, GE and BBNC.
In 2017, Amanda launched a freelance communication and consulting business.
Amanda is Accredited in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She serves on PRSA’s West Michigan Chapter Board and is a former co-chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Grand Rapids.
