Jeannette Jackson (left) and Maria Coolican (right) have been consulting together for over 20 years, and they draw upon a unique blend of business and education in their practice. They specialize in working with nonprofit organizations and have worked extensively in the Flint community. Their focus is on creating healthy work environments that are designed to improve productivity and increase revenue in both for profit and nonprofit organizations. They focus on leadership development; senior team leadership development; organizational change initiatives; strategic planning with a clear focus on action plans that lead to immediate impact; and, helping organizations to manage the financial and operational challenges of both growth as well as stagnation and even the prospect of closure.
In addition to their consulting practice, they both work at the University of Michigan. Maria is a faculty member in the School of Education and Jeannette is the managing director of the BioSocial Methods Collaborative.
