CMF’s 49th Annual Conference: Connecting Diverse Voices
October 17-19, 2021
Virtual Community Gathering
Save the date and join us for CMF’s 49th Annual Conference ─ Connecting Diverse Voices ─ a virtual event hosted October 17-19.
This year’s conference continues our community of philanthropy’s shared equity journey. We’ll explore the facets of diversity in our sector, in our world and in ourselves, from the different perspectives and ideas we share to the individual lived experiences and backgrounds we bring, to the distinct ways foundations live their missions and strive to create a positive and lasting impact.
As the endurance of our social and civic fabrics is being tested like no other time in our modern history, now more than ever there is need to lean on the strength of our diversity and bring disparate voices and views together from across our communities. By setting tables grounded in a commitment to inclusion – compassionate, open spaces where all are welcomed, heard and respected – we can support transformative conversations that promote understanding and move us toward truly thriving, equitable communities.
Together in this Annual Conference we’ll go deeper into the most critical and relevant issues we face in our sector and our world, asking questions and inviting conversation that challenges our thinking and inspires our action. Connect with your peers across the state as we lift up thought leadership, strategies and resources around the pillars of equity, people, policy and practice, with equity at the center. This is the time to renew, refresh and recharge as we collectively advance acts of love for humankind.
What You Can Expect:
- Community connections and action-oriented conversations.
- Inspiring main stage events featuring renowned thought leaders.
- Engaging breakout sessions designed by your peers.
- Interactive experiences designed through a place-based lens of the Southwest Michigan region.
