Donor Advised Funds
The Council of Michigan Foundations (CMF) announces a new membership category for Donor Advised Funds (DAF’s) of member community foundations. Join CMF and take advantage of unique programming opportunities in collaboration with family foundation and community foundation services.
CMF will offer support and services identified to meet the networking and programming needs of DAF’s such as:
- Regional philanthropy meetings in locations around the state on topics of interest to philanthropic families
- Programs on:
- Next generation issues
- Family values
- Family participation in giving
- Grantmaking
- Affinity groups and learning circles focused on specific program areas such as the environment and early childhood education
- Building networks
- Building community
- Succession planning
- Family Philanthropy E-News
- The Family Philanthropist newsletter
- Free monthly conference calls on topics of interest to family philanthropists with the National Center for Family Philanthropy
- Annual Conference sessions specifically for donor advised fund families/family philanthropists
